Dual Enrollment is the opportunity for a student to be enrolled in high school and college at the same time. A dual enrollment student receives credit on both their high school and college transcripts for the same course. Courses are offered by local technical, community, and four-year colleges.

First time taking a Dual Enrollment class? 
You will need to create an account with Southeastern Louisiana University using a personal email account (not Tangischools). Student Social Security numbers and guardian information are required.

Articulation and Transfer  -  This Louisiana Board of Regents link will provide information on how/if a course offered/completed at one institution will be accepted for transfer credit at another institution.

Modern States

SLU Scholar Program - Southeastern Louisiana University permits enrollment to superior high school students who have a proven high academic record, along with the recommendation of their principal. Southeastern Scholars can begin their college experiences at Southeastern during the summers and throughout the school year while they are still attending high school. Scholarships are available for part-time enrollment for qualified students who participate. 

If a student is accepted to the SLU Scholar Program, Southeastern will cover the cost of tuition and students will cover the fees. To view anticipated fees see:
